Tax cuts don’t make up for BC’s low minimum wages

BC Office | Update

On Policy Note this week, Iglika Ivanova reveals the gaping holes in the BC government's claim that tax cuts somehow compensate for this province's shamefully low minimum wage – now the lowest in the country. Ivanova writes,

She then goes on to do the math herself, and shares the results with our readers.

Support Our Work

The CCPA’s bold vision and creative solutions help us imagine better futures for all. Its efforts to build bridges between labour, industry, and civil society and mentor young activists lay the foundation for realizing those provocative futures. I consider my support for the CCPA an investment in a better future for British Columbia.
