"2009 marks the tenth year of the Nova Scotia office of the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives.  It is a small but mighty organization. It has produced 115 publications over its 10 years and has gained credibility and visibility becoming a go-to organization for the media. With the help of its loyal supporters, 300 plus members and 40 plus Research Associates, it will continue to raise debate and propose policy alternatives that will get us closer to a achieving a more economically and socially just, as well as environmentally sustainable province and Atlantic region."
